The Alliance Française de Melbourne is not only the
first French language school in Victoria with a yearly intake
of over 3.000 students, but it is also the sole French cultural
centre in Victoria. As such, it enjoys the patronage and
support of the French Embassy in Canberra.
The Alliance Française de Melbourne offers many advantages
to all lovers of French culture, be they francophone or francophile:

• Exhibitions;
• Discounts for special events such as the Beaujolais Nouveau Event,

be active within the Alliance Française de Melbourne.
This institution, in existence since 1890, is a registered
not-for-profit company. In order to pursue a quality cultural
distribution, your support, your enthusiasm, your eagerness
are necessary to us. You are particularly invited to the
Annual General Meeting and to take part in the elections
of Committee members. These committee members, in close association
with the CEO, define the Alliance Française de
Melbourne policy of promotion of the French language and
culture.
