Fiona Thorn

Once a month on a Thursday, the "old kitchen" basement of Eildon Mansion opens its doors for our popular Jeudi Jazzy concerts. Not to be missed!! Bookings Essential.

Following the Closing night screening of Joann Sfar’s biopic on French dandy Serge Gainsbourg, the Alliance Française de Melbourne invites you to a very special Jeudi Jazzy.

Legendary icon and infamous bad boy, Serge Gainsbourg was to become a major influence on French popular music.

Australia's leading performer of French chansons, Fiona Thorn, will add her touch to some major hits, including some from the 1960s, a tribute to his masterpiece Melody Nelson, and lesser-known gems.

Fiona studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris and has performed in the U.K. (Bloomsbury

Theatre, London, Edinburgh Festival) and Australia (Sydney Opera House, Spiegeltent, Adelaide Cabaret Festival). She is backed by musical director John Thorn.

To make proper mischief, you need to be sexy, wealthy and little bit Wilde.

Two young well to do guys use the same pseudonym ("Constant" in French and "Ernest" in English") on the sly, which is fine until they both fall in love with women using that name, which leads to a comedy of mistaken identities...
